From Freebase

Freebase Topics may have images associated with them. You can add/edit/delete images by using the "Edit" mode on the Topic page.

NOTE: Media Rights Holder (user/topic) property has broken permissions and will be fixed (but it is low priority as of July 2011).

You can also upload images via the API using the uri_submit_image service.

Fetching images

If you are using the API you can fetch images using the image+thumb web service.
