Freebase has data on over 22 million topics that you can query in a variety of ways:
- by Id: for example, the film Avatar by Freebase id: /en/avatar_2009, by Imdb id: tt0499549 or Netflix id: 70109892
- by property: /film/film/directed_by Peter Jackson
- by text search: "ford", constrained by type: company,
- by location: restaurants near Berkeley
Or you can download a dump of Freebase.
