Type Definition
A TV program is factual or fictional content that is broadcast on television. It may be a one-off broadcast or a TV series that has episodes. This type includes regular broadcasts (e.g. TV news), TV series or miniseries, television specials, made-for-TV movies and infomercials.
Things That Are TV Programs
- TV series (e.g. Glee, Princess Hours, True Blood)

Edge Cases
- Pilot movies of TV series or TV programs
Babylon 5: The Gathering is a pilot movie that is not part of any TV season. It should not be typed as a TV episode but a TV program and co-typed as a film. But there are also some pilot movies that are part of a season (for example, Daggers). It should be typed as a TV episode and co-typed as a film.
